Zhigang (Michael) Wu
Research Associate Professor, Department of Physics

Zhigang WuI am interested in applying and developing the state-of-the-art quantum-mechanical simulation methods to study novel materials for next-generation electronic and optoelectronic devices, with current focus on complex nanomaterials for energy conversion and storage. Our group also investigates a variety of topics in condensed matter physics including superconductivity, materials under extreme conditions, ferroelectricity and multiferroics.
