Research Interests

  • Experimental nuclear astrophysics
  • Applied nuclear physics
  • Radiation detector development

The research field I work in can be loosely described as applied nuclear physics. My current projects are:

  • Nuclear astrophysics with radioactive ion beams
  • Nuclear diagnostics for the National Ignition Facility (NIF)
  • Radiation detector development for neutron induced fission measurements
  • Neutron detector development

Most of the experiments are carried out at national and international laboratories (Argonne, Los Alamos, Livermore, Oak Ridge, Lead and Vancouver).
