  • First-principles electronic structures
  • Nanoscale physics
  • Superconductivity
  • Materials under extreme conditions
  • Ferroelectricity and multiferroics

I am interested in applying and developing the state-of-the-art quantum-mechanical simulation methods to study novel materials for next-generation electronic and optoelectronic devices, with current focus on complex nanomaterials for energy conversion and storage. Our group also investigates a variety of topics in condensed matter physics including superconductivity, materials under extreme conditions, ferroelectricity and multiferroics.
